Coldplay Headlining in India For First Time

Coldplay’s first appearance in India is coming up this weekend and it’s a pretty exciting time for the band as you might be able to guess. They will be headlining at the Global Citizen Festival on November 19. Eligibility to this concert was discussed earlier this year, but basically you got a free ticket if you completed enough charitable acts to qualify. What a great idea for those truly trying to make the world a better place.

Coldplay isn’t the only one headlining the event, nor are they the honly ones playing their for their first time. Jay Z falls under both and has played with Coldplay in the past. These two participated in the Global Citizen’s Festival in New York the past two years. Demi Lovato is also set to perform at this event.
