Chris Stapleton has been nominated for many awards and he now has two more to add to the list. He has been nominated for two Americana Music Association Awards, which is just one less than the leader of all artists. Jason Isbell has three nominations. Let’s take a moment to look at Stapleton’s two awards…
Stapleton is nominated for Album of the Year and Artist of the year and face stiff competition. For Album of the Year, he’ll be going up against Jason Isbell, Lucinda Williams, and Parker Millsap.
For Artist of the year, he’ll be facing much of the same artists. The nominees for the award are Jason Isbell, Lucinda Williams, and Bonnie Raitt.
The 2016 Americana Music Association Awards will be happening on September 21.
