Chris Stapleton to Appear on ‘SNL’

If you’re a fan of NBC’s Saturday night iconic comedy series Saturday Night Live you’ll be pleased to hear that the Saturday, January 27th show, with guest host Will Ferrell, will also feature country music star, Chris Stapleton. Chris will appear in a sketch or two during the episode. This will be Chris’s second appearance on the ‘SNL’ set; he appeared with the cast in 2016.

Yes, typically ‘SNL’ brings the hippest, coolest, youngest music star to appear, but country music does have a firm hold on stars that have brought country music to the masses. Do you remember Taylor in 2009? How about the Dixie Chicks in 2003? ‘SNL’ has been around since the early 70s, which means Johnny Cash was an early hit in 1982, Keith Urban in 2007, Dolly in 1989, Carrie in 2007, and Dwight Yoakam in 1994.
