Chris Berman’s Wife, Kathy, Dies in Car Accident

Chris Berman has always been one of our favorite television personalities, becoming a star on ESPN many many years ago, so it is truly sad to have to report the news that his wife, Kathy, was killed in a car accident on Tuesday. The accident occurred in Woodbury, Connecticut.

Just this January Chris had announced he had retired as host of Sunday NFL Countdown. He had hosted the show for almost as long as he had been married, 31 years.

Kathy leaves behind Chris as well as Douglas and Meredith, their children. The two had been married for 33 years. Rest in peace Kathy. Your friends and family are in our thoughts.
