Chloe Kim Takes Home Gold and Near Perfect Score

Chloe Kim is only 17 years old, but she’s done more than many of us could even imagine. At the Winter Olympics last night she not only won gold, but recorded a near perfect score! With every other snowboarder locked into their scores, Kim was guaranteed a gold medal before her final run. With no pressure to hold her down, she generated a 98.25 on her final run!

Kim’s parents are Korean, so taking home gold in the halfpipe snowboarding competition at this year’s Winter Olympics must have been special. She was born in California and has been snowboarding since the age of four. She definitely has a wealth of fans who watched her as she still has family that currently lives in South Korea. What an impressive performance from Kim as she isn’t even 18 and yet has herself a gold medal!

Congratulations to Chloe Kim on the big gold medal!
