Chaka Kahn Drops First Single in 10 Years

You know it’s going to be a good day when you hear the news that soul superstar Chaka Kahn has a new song. The tune is called “Like Sugar” is the 1st single from her soon to be released album, with complete details not yet available.

Chaka Kahn’s label wanted to do something rare, so they pressed and sold only 100 copies of the single “Like Sugar” in a white label 12″, a specialty item for this past April Record Store Day. Her single “Like Sugar” is her first new release sine 2007, and it’s nice to see the soul Queen from Chicago back in the studio. Chaka has earned 10 Grammy awards, so her success is justly earned.
