Microsoft surpassed Apple’s market cap on Friday, October 29, to become the world’s most valuable public company. The change follows Apple’s Thursday earnings, where the company posted strong results but revealed that it lost $6 billion to supply chain constraints. When NASA’s Lucy space probe launched successfully from Cape Canaveral in Florida early on Saturday, October 16th, it was the beginning of a 12-year mission to study Jupiter’s Trojan asteroids.
