BTS, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion Take Home Big Wins at AMAs 2021

Last night, the 2021 American Music Awards, hosted by Cardi B, gave well-deserved honors across all genres.

Taylor Swift received the award for favorite female pop artist and favorite pop album with evermore

Doja Cat took home the win for favorite female R&B artist, collaboration of the year for “Kiss Me More ft. SZA,” and favorite R&B album with Planet Her, while Megan Thee Stallion won for favorite female hip-hop artist, favorite hip-hop album with Good News, and favorite trending song for “Body.” 

As the show went on, BTS also ended up winning three honors of the night, including artist of the year, favorite pop song for “Butter,” and favorite pop duo or group.

Other notable honors of the night were Olivia Rodrigo’s win for new artist of the year, Cardi B’s “Up” for favorite hip-hop song, Carrie Underwood for favorite inspirational artist, and many more.
