For an estimated $500 million or more, Bruce Springsteen has finally decided to sell his entire music catalog to Sony Music Entertainment after thorough negotiation. The deal is possibly the biggest transaction ever conducted for a single artist’s body of work.

The information comes from two anonymous sources who were briefed on the deal, as no public announcement has been made about the sale.

Springsteen, according to the sources, sold his entire recorded music catalog, as well as his body of work as a songwriter. This includes ownership of classic Springsteen tracks like “Born to Run,” “Born in the U.S.A.” and “Blinded by the Light.”
