Broadway Star Nick Cordero Dies of Coronavirus

It has been very sadly reported that beloved broadway actor, husband and father, Nick Cordero lost his fight with COVID-19. The stage star had been hospitalized for three months prior to his death, and had to have his leg amputated after contracting the virus. He was 41 years old.

Cordero’s wife, Amanda Kloots, confirmed his death on Sunday, via an Instagram post. “My darling husband passed away this morning,” Kloots said in the staement. “He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth.” Throughout his battle with COVID-19, Kloots encouraged fans to sing Cordero’s song “Live Your Life” daily at 3 p.m. ET.

“I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere,” Kloots added. “My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him.”

Cordero is survived by his wife Amanda, and their 1 year old son, Elvis.
