Britney’s Britney Celebrates 15 Years

This past weekend Britney Spears celebrated a pretty big anniversary for one of her albums. Her third album release in her career was titled “Britney” and was released 15 years ago November 5. It sold over 15 million albums, so obviously it was one of her biggest!

She’s had many big hits in her career and many came from this album. The biggest hits of the album included “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Overprotected” and “Boys.” In total, six singles came off the album.

In total, “Britney” hit number one six times across the globe. Those countries that the album peaked at number one included Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and the United States. When the album came out, Britney Spears was the first female to ever have her first three albums debut at the top of the Billboard 200.
