After only three months after having her 13-year conservatorship terminated in court, Britney Spears has reportedly signed a $15 million book deal with Simon & Schuster for a tell-all memoir.

Spears has been notably open on social media about her struggles with her conservatorship, fame, and her estranged family.

“This message is to my family … for hurting me deeper than you’ll ever know !!!” the singer wrote on social media in October. “I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice !!!”

Spears also recently shared a letter that she received from the United States Congress, signed by Congressmen Charlie Crist and Eric Swalwell, congratulating her and her lawyer Mathew Rosengart on their “historic victories.” The letter, which Spears received back in December of 2021, also included an invitation to meet.

In the caption of her post sharing the letter, Spears wrote that she was “immediately flattered” by the invitation to share her story, but that “at the time I wasn’t nearly at the healing stage I’m in now.”

No further details have been revealed about Spears’ book deal.
