We’re not in the business of only talking about Britney Spears, but when she’s active in the community like she is then we can’t help it. She has recently joined forces with the American Red Cross to raise money for flood relief in Louisiana.
You may have forgotten because it was so long ago that we recognized where Britney grew up, but she’s from Kentwood, Louisiana. These floods have hit close to home and that is one of the reasons why she wants to help so much.
ABC News has said that over 100,000 people have asked for help via federal assistance, so it’s these kinds of donations that help people in times of need.
Britney is raising money by giving fans a shot at meeting her in New York to attend the MTV Video Music Awards and/or winning the outfit she wears during her award show performance. All you have to do is donate $10 to be able to win.
