It was recently rumored that one of our favorite artists of the past 15 years or so would be playing at the NFL Championship game this upcoming year. Well, our hopes and dreams have been dashed as Britney Spears will not be playing that big halftime performance. This rumor was shot down just the other day from the Pepsi team, saying that it wouldn’t be her when the time comes to announce the performer(s).
Pepsi has sponsored the halftime show for the NFL Championship game for quite a few years now and have always done a great job with it. Previous performers include Coldplay, Beyonce, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry among others.
