Ronald Acuna Jr. is a star in the making and he’s the hottest hitter in baseball right now, hitting a home run in five straight games. Well, for some reason, Jose Urena took offense to the Marlins giving up a bunch of home runs to him in route to a four-game sweep of them that he decided to throw at him the first pitch of the game.
Urena hit him on a 97mph fastball and, not surprisingly, benches cleared and players were angry. When things had settled down, it got crazy again as the benches would clear moments later once he got to first base. Acuna would try to continue but unfortunately had to be taken out of the game. He was hit in the left elbow region and no word is out about his health moving forward.
