Rock makes strange bedfellows. In the 70s two of the hottest bands heard on your favorite radio station included e Boston and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Boston broke all the rules; their singer had a high voice, there were no album notes or pictures.
Joan broke the glass ceiling for women in rock, proving she had the skills to be on stage with the boys. The two bands will tour together this summer.
