There will be a new face leading the Oklahoma Sooners’ charge this fall and it’s all because Bob Stoops surprised us all on Wednesday. It was yesterday that he came out and announced that he would be retiring after coaching 18 years at the University.
Stoops had quite the career at Oklahoma, winning a national championship in 2000 and amassed 190 wins to just 48 losses. His Oklahoma teams played in a bowl game every season he coached them, leading them to a 9-9 record during that span.
190 wins is quite impressive out of a head coach. Before his retirement he had the fourth most wins of all active FBS coaches. Lincoln Riley has been named the head coach in Stoops’ place. He was the offensive coordinator the past two seasons.
2 Chainz has had a big 2017 and he’s looking to continue it with the announcement of his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music Tour. Just recently announced, this tour has 35 dates on it going all across the country from coast to coast and border to border.
