When you think of the birthplaces of great rock bands, you naturally think of LA, New York, Seattle or Chicago. Did you know that little Ivy League city Princeton, NJ is the birthplace of Blues Traveler? John Popper and the boys in the band began in 1987, re-defining ‘blues rock’ to the tune of selling millions of albums and hitting the charts with “Run Around.” And “Hook.” Blues Traveler almost broke up with the sudden and tragic death of Bobby Sheehan, an accidental drug overdose in New Orleans in 1999.

The band has released 12 albums over the years, celebrating 30 years of success. They are also on the road for a brief tour so if you have a chance, be sure to see the show…
