Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus is Cancer-Free!

“Just saw my oncologist and I’m cancer free!!” Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus shares with social media followers after months of updates on his journey with 4-A diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Hoppus was diagnosed earlier this year and has since undergone many rounds of chemotherapy. 

The pop-punk bassist thanks everyone, including God, while also explaining that he feels “so blessed,” despite it being likely that full health recuperation will take until the end of the year. 

Back in June, Hoppus opened up to fans about his initial diagnosis, the two sides of hope and fear, and the determination he had to make it out on the other side of treatment. His Twitter bio now proudly states, “Cancer Destroyer.”
