Blake Shelton is making waves in the news each and every week with hit songs, his relationship with Gwen Stefani, Gwen’s great music, and just recently a court ruling. Just last week we discussed Blake Shelton suing In Touch Weekly for defamation after making claims that he was going to rehab because of his split from Miranda Lambert.
He of course denies this ever happening and has sued the magazine for defamation. The judge on this case has ruled in his favor, not allowing the case to be thrown out. Judge Christina A. Snyder said the headline by itself was enough for libel. Those are pretty strong words and not a good start to the lawsuit if you’re In Touch Weekly. Blake is seeking $1 million in damages.
