At the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, there was one only one country artist representative: Blake Shelton. Shelton was nominated for Favorite Male Singer. He has had one heck of a time over the last year and was more than worthy of taking home some hardware this weekend. Unfortunately though, Shelton was not the winner, Justin Bieber.

Others nominated for Favorite Male Singer include Drake, The Weeknd, Nick Jonas, and Ed Sheeran. After being nominated for this same award in 2013 and 2015, Shelton is still looking for his first Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award.
