Beyonce and Meghan Markle Have Fashion Love Fest at UK Lion King Premiere

Once it was announced that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, would be attending the London premiere of “The Lion King” with her husband, Prince Harry, the internet has been ablaze with excitement that our American Princess would be meeting our other American Royal Family: Queen B, a.k.a. Beyoncé and her husband, Jay Z.

At Sunday night’s yellow carpet, it finally happened.

Not only did they meet, from the looks of the multitude of photos snapped at the event, the Duchess of Sussex and Beyoncé had an absolute love fest. There was enough hugging and arm squeezing and smiling to make everyone feel the love tonight.

The Duchess of Sussex looked incredible in her black Jason Wu dress with sheer panel detailing, a matching black satin clutch from Gucci, sparkling earrings by Nikos Koulis and heels by Aquazzura, one of her go-to designers. Beyoncé delivered as well, in a golden yellow Cong Tri gown fit for a lioness. And that up-to-there thigh slit? Meow!
