Like many of the award shows since Prince’s passing, the BET Awards will be paying tribute the man, the myth, the legend, Prince. Recently the award show has announced who will be doing the tribute and we’re quite excited about it.
Janelle Monae and Sheila E. were protégés of Princes and they will be a part of the Prince tribute. The Roots and D’Angelo will also be paying tribute as well. At this time, we don’t know exact details, but we do know that these performances will happen throughout the entire show.
The BET Awards will be airing live on BET June 26 in Los Angeles and is one award show you won’t want to miss.
