Ben Affleck’s The Accountant Rules at Box Office

Just recently we talked about Ben Affleck and the upcoming movies he has been working on. One of those movies is The Accountant, which was released this past week and debuted this past weekend. It would debut as the top movie, bringing in $24.7 million at the box office.

Ben Affleck has a lot to be proud of with that top finish and did it by a pretty wide margin. The latest Kevin Hart movie debuted this week at number two with just under $12 million generated at the box office. Let’s take a look at the top five movies from this past weekend!

1. The Accountant – $24.7 million
2. Kevin Hart: What Now? – $11.984 million
3. The Girl on the Train – $11.975 million
4. Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children – $8.9 million
5. Deepwater Horizon – $6.35 million
