Ben Affleck is one of our favorite movie stars, dominating roles in The Town, Argo, Suicide Squad, The Accountant, Gone Baby Gone and Armageddon among many others. It is this week though that we realize he’s just like us and can fall victim to something as tough as alcoholism. He took to social media to discuss the fact that he has recently received alcohol treatment to help him fight this fight. Ben posted that he has completed that treatment, which we couldn’t be happier about.
From that statement it really sounds like he has found what will help him steer clear of alcohol and that would be his children. He was also very thankful for his wife, family and friends.
Keep fighting the good fight Ben. We’re rooting for you.
