Memphis was the city used as a background in the John Gresham book and film ‘The Firm’ starring Tom Cruise, the home of Elvis, and the location for the Beale Street music Festival, which is being held this upcoming weekend, May 5th, 6th and 7th.
Memphis is the home of Beale Street Blues, Justin Timberlake, Isaac Hayes, Big Star, and the Bar Kays, but this festival each year brings in millions of dollars in revenues and national interest in the unique rock and roll music scene.
