Over the weekend, we saw plenty of NBA news hit the news wire. For one, the game seven game between Toronto and Miami decided the series and who would be facing the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Raptors won what was a very tight battle over the last week.
In coaching news, the Pacers have finalized a deal with Nate McMillan to head coach the team. He was an assistant and has experience coaching the SuperSonics and Trail Blazers from 2000 to 2012.
Scott Skiles has resigned from the Orlando Magic head coaching job over the weekend. This came as a shocker considering the teams improvement the one year the team was coached by him as well as the upside the next few years should possess. The team is young and has plenty of cap space to help build a bright future.
This week, we’ll see the Cavaliers/Raptors and the Thunder/Warriors start, both of which should be exciting to take in.
