Barbara Bush Nearing the End

Barbara Bush will forever be revered as one of the rocks of American politics, influential in her role as mother and wife to Presidents of the United States. She’s simply the matriarch of modern politics. She’s also preparing for her next life in heaven, as this week has been released from an area DC hospital, receiving comfort care at her home in Houston.

Barbara Pierce is now 92, born in update New York. She and her husband of 72 years George met at a school dance, eventually marrying in 1945. Her husband and future President grew the families fortune in the oil industry. There is only one other woman who can boast of being the wife and mother of an American President; Abigail Adams is in that club.

Barbara Bush is the grandchildren of 17 and has seven great-grandchildren. We will keep you updated on her health as we move forward this week and next.
