Avril Lavigne, Mod Sun Get Engaged

Avril Lavigne has just revealed that she and Mod Sun are officially engaged!

“It was the most perfect, romantic proposal I could ever ask for,” Avril shared. “We were in Paris on a boat in the Seine River. We had a violin player, champagne and roses. It felt like time stood still, and it was just the two of us in the moment.”

Lavigne posted the news on her Instagram with the words “Yes, I’ll love you forever!” captioning a carousel of romantic photos from the unforgettable moment, including a snapshot of Mod on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower.

The rapper-singer also shared the news on his social media, captioning a collection of photos with a short poem.

“I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes,” he began. “You’re too beautiful for my words to describe. I grabbed your hand + took one last breath… I said ‘will you marry me’ + she said ‘yes.’”
