Avril Lavigne is a big time singer and musician and we’re excited to report that she plans on releasing new music in 2017. She made the announcement via Instagram over the weekend.
In the post she said, “Hi Everyone!! I wanted to first thank my fans for your patience & support during my time away throughout my battle with Lyme Disease over the past 2 years. It hasn’t just been a hard battle…” She added towards the end “I’m really happy to announce that I am now working on new music and I will be releasing a new album in 2017.”
This is amazing news for Lavigne and fans of her music. She has not released an album since 2013 when she released “Avril Lavgine” back in 2013. She would go on a tour that year through 2014.
UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that Michael died due to heart failure. 2016 had already been a tough year, given the loss of David Bowie, Prince, Glenn Frey and more.
