Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’ Album is Topping Charts Before it’s even Released

Ariana Grande’s new album Thank U, Next has already earned an impressive chart honor that only two albums previously have, even though her album isn’t due to be released until February 8th.

On Monday, January 28th, it was reported that Grande’s new single “7 Rings” soars in at No. 1 on the latest Hot 100, marking her second song to start at the chart’s summit. “Thank U, Next” launched at No. 1 on Nov. 17 and ruled for seven weeks.

With both songs from Grande’s album Thank U, Next, the set, ahead of its arrival, joins Drake’s Scorpion and Mariah Carey’s Daydream as the only albums each boasting two songs that have entered at No. 1 on the Hot 100.
