Ann Curry Warned Them, Now She’s In the #MeToo Movement

Ann Curry is speaking out about the non-female friendly environment of television news this week, telling interviewers that she raised the issue of verbal harassment as early as 2012, mentioning disgraced Matt Lauer and hinting at other significant men in television news royalty.

It’s hard to find your way in a male dominant industry, but Ann has been climbing the ladder of success for over 30 years. Ann Curry left her co-star position at the embattled NBC ‘Today’ show a few years ago after 25 years, but is resurfacing to openly speak about the experience. You may remember that she and Matt Lauer didn’t have the right ‘interaction,’ so she was bounced, an experience that hurt Ann deeply.
