Angelina Jolie Visits France, Speaks to NATO This Week

Did you know that Angelina Jolie is the daughter of actor John Voight, or that she carried a vile of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood in a piece of jewelry around her neck? Probably not, but did you also know that she’s in France right now, rubbing elbows with France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron? Yup, during a visit to the presidential Elysées Palace, she and the First Lady had tea and discussed the problems of the world.

Angelina also visited the headquarters of NATO in Brussels, Belgium, discussing how the world’s citizens can prevent violence against women and stop sexual harassment. She is on a working vacation with her six children, giving the paparazzi a real photo shoot as she and her children wandered through the streets of Paris.

On a Hollywood note, word is that she’s furious that the Academy snubbed her for any Oscar chances this year. Her Cambodian film, ‘First They Killed My Father’ did not receive an Oscar nomination.
