Andie MacDowell is Still Beautiful, Still Working

In the 80s there may not have been a more powerful women in film than Meg Ryan, Michelle Pfeiffer, or Andie MacDowell. Andie burned it up in the 1989 ‘Sex, Lies and Videotape.’ Now she’s turning 80, working on being as interesting as she was 30 years ago. To prove the point, Andie’s starring in her latest film ‘Love After Love’ demanding she play the role of a grieving wife whose family seems to be falling apart. The film opened in select theaters in New York with strong sales and critical acclaim.

Andie hails from South Carolina, getting her start in the business in the 1985 classic ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’ with follow up work in the hits ‘Sex, Lies and Videotape,’ ‘Groundhog Day’ from 1983, and ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral.’ Her 2018 silver screen and television films include ‘Paper Year,’ ‘The Last Laugh’ and ‘The Beach House.’
