The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently announced it’s 2018 nominees for the upcoming year’s class, and again we’re stunned with the absence of any mention of the Doobie Brothers, The Dave Matthews Band, or Carole King as a solo performer.

Amongst the 19 nominees, the ones we think will interest you are the Zombies from the 60s and early 70s, The Cars who have been overlooked for years, Bon Jovi, Annie Lennox and the Eurythmics, Dire Straits, LL Cool J, The Moody Blues, Rufus and Chaka Kahn.

In our opinion, Janet Jackson, Don McLean, Toni Braxton, Sheryl Crowe, Shania Twain, The Dave Matthews Band, Outkast, Counting Crows, and Collective Soul deserve to be considered for the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Only time will tell if they ever get elected into the Hall.
