Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen Beer Ads Pulled

By now it’s hard to have not seen at least one Bud Light commercial featuring Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen. The two have been everyone on television with these commercials, but apparently it hasn’t been working for this beer company. Adweek is saying that the ads are being pulled because of declining sales this past quarter.

The commercials were edgy as you would expect, but one of the commercials received plenty of negative attention. In fact, it received so much negative attention that YouTube shut down the ability for people to comment on the video. The commercial was titled “Equal Pay” and in it, these two hilarious movie stars talked about how Bud Light cost the same price for both genders.

With two big stars backing the beer, it is surprising that Bud Light is seeing its sales decline, but maybe the commercials and their edgy scripts are to blame. We will have to see how the beer sales do in the fourth quarter before we can make that call.
