One of Hollywood’s most enduring shows, American Idol returns to TV March 11th, 2018 and the celebrity judges have been chosen; Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan. This show is one of the biggest out there and is more than worth a watch. The kickoff episode will be a 2-hour extravaganza, with all the excitement associated with the live talent show. Ryan Seacrest has been hitting the daytime talk shows this week to help promote the new season.
The show began in 2002, with Kelly Clarkson winning the inaugural top spot. The show has launched many stars, including Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Kelly, Clay Aiken, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, Ruben Studdard, and Fantasia Barrino.
Auditions for the upcoming 2018 season kicked off during this past summer, with thousands of star-struck hopefuls standing in line to be heard. Fans can engage with the show on social media at #TheNextIdol. The new season’s kickoff show is scheduled for March 11th, 2018.
