Alicia Keys is more than just a great performer with 15 Grammys. She’s someone who gives back and wants to make the world a better place. This is evident by her work with Keep a Child Alive and We Are Here. Both were co-founded by Keys and both help young people across the world.
Alicia was honored just the other day with the Ambassador of Conscience award of 2017 from Amnesty International. She joins a list of previous winners that is quite impressive. Past winners include Nelson Mandela and Joan Baez.
She won this award because she has used her talent and ability to be a role model to try to change injustices around the world. And if she can’t change it then she’s inspiring others to do so! What an honor for Alicia!
