What a week it was for news! We had some very crazy, unfortunate, and sad news happen this past weekend and it’s now time we catch you up on it! You wouldn’t want to be the only one out of the loop at the water cooler…

The biggest news of the weekend was the passing of Muhammad Ali. While he was a sports legend due to his boxing career, his impact was more than just in the ring. He was a man that was loved by all and is considered one of the most impactful men in boxing and Muslim history.

Mark Salling, the Glee actor, has pleaded not guilty to child pornography. The entire situation is unfortunate and we hope that whatever the result of his case is we see justice for those involved.

At the box office, Captain America: Civil War continues to gain an edge on Deadpool for highest grossing movie in America. The gap is now $20 million with Captain America reaching $383 million brought in.
