Alec Baldwin, Tom Cruise and More Hollywood Headlines

A few days ago, we told you that Alec Baldwin signed on to play Bruce Wayne/Batman’s father, Thomas Wayne, in the soon to begin filming Joker origin film. Check that, as now we hear that “scheduling” issues will prevent Alec from taking the coveted role.

Paramount Pictures has delayed the production of the highly anticipated Tom Cruise’s ‘Top Gun’ sequel for a few reasons, moving the original release date of July 2019, to June of 2020. Evidently a few of the flight and fight sequences which require permissions has delayed the entire project until 2020.

This just in, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ judge Carrie Ann Inaba has been signed to host the 2019 Miss America Competition. Due to a few internal controversies, including the decision not to feature a swimsuit competition, the 2019 Miss America Competition will air live on ABC from Atlantic City September 9th, 9pm Est.
