Among those who were victorious on rivalry weekend were Colorado, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Ohio State, Penn State, Clemson and Alabama among others. The final four for the playoffs should be pretty interesting to see come the days after championship weekend.

Herman won a national championship as the offensive coordinator of the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2014 and was very successful as the head coach of Houston the last two seasons. LSU hired their coach this weekend as well, naming Ed Orgeron the head guy after going 5-2 with LSU as the interim coach.
