A Mix Up At the Top of the Mediabase Chart

There has been a little bit of a mix up at the top of this week’s Mediabase Alternative chart, as we see two positions filled by different artists this week. The top hit comes from Blink-182’s “Bored to Death,” but the second and third position flipped from last week. The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ hit, “Dark Necessities,” has gone to number two this week while the Lumineers “Ophelia” falls to number three.

There are no new tracks to the top 10, but there is one artist and song that is making a nice move up. Cage the Elephant’s hit, “Trouble,” was the only song to improve more than one spot this week, moving from eight to six.
