Glenn Frey tragically died in 2016, leaving Joe Walsh to wonder to ask just how fair life really is. Joe would be the first to tell you that his lifestyle and battles with addition made him a better candidate to leave this earth before any of the other band members. Randy who left the band mid-stream has been in legal troubles over the last few years, and tragically lost his wife to a freak gun accident in 2016. Let’s look at one of their best albums, ‘Hotel California.’
‘Hotel California’ is perhaps the bands greatest commercial moment, providing the singles “New Kid in Town,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” and of course “Hotel California.” Welcome Joe Walsh! The Eagles recorded the album at the famous Criteria Studios in Miami, and countless times had to stop the session to band on the walls to tell the neighboring band to turn down the volume of their recording. The band next door during the session was Black Sabbath.
