This week the NFL season begins and we have plenty of great games in store for us. It all begins Thursday night with an NFL Championship rematch and ends on Monday night with two very intriguing matchups. Let’s take a look at some of the best matchups you won’t want to miss this week.

Carolina at Denver has to be the top matchup even if Peyton Manning is now retired. The Manning-less Broncos will be led by Trevor Siemian at quarterback while the Panthers continue on with their superstar quarterback, Cam Newton.

We won’t be missing Miami at Seattle on Sunday afternoon. The game pits the powerful Seattle Seahawks against an up and coming Miami Dolphins team that is looking to gain an edge on the Patriots in the division before Tom Brady returns.

We see two divisional rivals face off when the Giants head to Dallas to play the Cowboys. Tony Romo is hurt (again), but Eli Manning is still wearing the Giants jersey and has a great group of receivers to throw to.

The last game we’ll be extremely excited to watch is Sunday Night Football, Patriots at Cardinals. Can Carson Palmer take the Cardinals to the promise land after struggling so much in the playoffs? We’ll see if he can bounce back here on primetime television Sunday night.
