Alice Cooper’s special edition DVD, a cryptic new film called ‘Welcome To My Nightmare Special Edition,’ dropped last fall, with great reviews. Alice has signed on to star in the live Easter ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ performance this Easter, and he’s just announced his 2018 tour, with plenty of stops in North America. Let’s just say that the man who gave us “Schools Out” and “I’m 18” some 35 years ago couldn’t be hotter. Here are three things you may not have known about Alice Cooper…

Alice was actually born ‘Vincent Damon Furnier’ in Phoenix, AZ in 1948, but spent his years in the Motor City as a child.

Alice not an overly religious man, but his father was a preacher.

Golf is his passion, a sport that he claims help him keep his alcoholism in check. Alice is the host of an annual charity golf tournament each year; this upcoming March the event is scheduled to benefit Solid Rock and The Rock Teen Center.
