It’s not often an artist has a hit early in his or her career, only to revive the tune with a re-mix or ‘featured’ guest artist, hitting the charts again with the same song. Run DMC and Aerosmith played that card with “Walk This Way” in the late 80s, opening up a new audience for both artists.

Rod Stewart is on the charts with a tune you’ll remember from the late 70s called “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” this time around with contemporary artists DNCE.

“Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” was performed live at the recent 2017 MTV Video Music VMAs, causing the song to hit the charts. Rod’s original “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” video has been viewed nearly 16 million times on YouTube, while the DNCE version has nearly 200,000 views and picking up steam.
