Who doesn’t love the group DNCE? This foursome (Joe, Jack, Cole and JinJoo) began in San Francisco just last year, having a moderately successful year. They were recently just waiting for that big break! That big break came when they appeared on the Fox Grease Live performance, portraying themselves in the production as ‘Johnny Casino and The Gamblers’ during a high school dance scene in the live show. They would then come out with the song “Cake By the Ocean” and the rest is history.
The band credits the early influences of Sly and the Family Stone. ELO, Prince, Hall and Oates, and Weezer as the genres of music that gave them their voice. The group is out on tour for just a few more dates…
