Kim Kardashian returns to Instagram to announce Skims hosiery launch

After taking a little time off, this month Kim Kardashian has returned to Instagram with a brand new launch. The reality star and businesswoman made her first post since Christmas for her Skims shapewear brand. Kardashian’s post also marks her first social media appearance following rumors of a divorce between her and Kanye West.  Within the post, she is seen wearing a black bra and sheer tights that she announced will release as a part of her new Skims Hosiery line that debuted on January 14th.

“We’re changing the game and launching gravity-defying tights and hosiery solutions that sculpt, smooth and never lose their shape,” Kardashian captioned the photo. The latest hosiery launches will be available in four neutral hues, styles and sizes ranging from XXS to 4X.

Skims’ latest category of hosiery also offers three targeted levels of compression (nude support, mid support, full control) that are designed to be worn underneath pants and skirts. They cost $42 to $48. There is also a Hosiery Bralette that will be available with the new launches. It features a sheer scoop neck bralette as well as a double-layered under band for light support.

“These aren’t your mother’s stockings,” Skims captioned a photo of a group of models wearing the hosiery. “We’ve reinvented classic hosiery by combining innovative construction with our signature SKIMS Solutionwear™ technology.”

For those eager to shop Skims’ new hosiery line, fans have been encouraged to join a waitlist for early access.
