On Tuesday, March 3rd, Lizzo seriously called out TikTok.

The music icon noticed that her videos in a swimsuit have been deleted by the social media platform

The video shows Lizzo lip syncing to an audio that repeat-sings the words, “I know,” with a series of text overlays. “TikTok keeps taking down my videos with me in my bathing suits,” the clip reads.

“But allows other videos with girls in bathing suits,” she continued, implying that her content is being targeted because of her body. “I wonder why? Tiktok… we need to talk.”

This type of censorship is nothing new to the platform. There are multiple plus sized users who have called out the double standards that TikTok is displaying. Thankfully Lizzo’s massive platform is bringing awareness to millions. At leas 8 million, to be exact. Watch the video here.
