LadBible has reported that Macca’s, as Mcdonald’s is known in Australia, is testing out a whole bunch of exciting menu items. First up, a Chicken Parmigiana Burger. It seems like it’s your standard chicken sandwich that’s then topped with “parmigiana and cheese sauces,” and from the photo it looks messy, crunchy, and out of this world.
Chicken parm may seem kind of high-brow, but it isn’t unheard of for a fast-food company to tackle this dish. Burger King whipped it up in 2017. Still, this one looks next-level.
On top of chicken parm, McDonald’s will also be testing out fries you can toss in chicken salt, a McSpicy Burger, which is supposedly the hottest in McDonald’s history, a Chicken Schnitzel Burger, a Teriyaki Burger, and Spicy Shaker Tenders. That’s a whole lot to handle.
But much like we’re used to in the states, this test is only be conducted in South Australia which means that the rest of Australia won’t be getting it…and we in the states will DEFINITELY not be getting it… yet. Keep your fingers crossed that this takes off and Mickey D’s spreads the love our way soon.
